About Me
Hi, I'm Maya, an ADHD Life Coach.
As a NeuroZesty individual and mom to NeuroZesty children, I deeply understand the unique landscape of neurodiversity. My journey has involved navigating not only my own challenges but also those of my loved ones, as well as the students and staff I’ve had the privilege to work with. This lived experience fuels my passion for empowering others.
My career is defined by a deep commitment and endless drive to learn and experience. I hold a graduate degree in Education Development from Columbia University as well as Level Two ICF Coach Training through the iACT center. I enjoy diving into academic research on most topics related to Neurodiversity.
My professional background spans a wide spectrum as well, including years in special education and general education classrooms from early childhood through secondary education, teacher training, curriculum development, education leadership and administration, as well as a successful tenure in management positions within high-tech corporate environments. This “full picture” perspective allows me to bridge the gap between academic theory and the demands of home, classrooms, and workplaces.
My coaching is rooted in a strength-based approach, focusing on identifying and leveraging your inherent talents to build practical and effective strategies. I believe in fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for lasting change and growth.
When I'm not coaching, you can find me spending quality time with loved ones, enjoying outdoor activities such as gardening, hiking, and geocaching, or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
